Adjustment

WARNING
Risk of electric injury.
► Before any manipulation with the tool
make sure to unplug the mains socket
outlet.

7.1 Cutting Depth Adjustment

Loosen the winged screw [1-12].
Set the required depth on the cutting depth
scale [1-13]. The bottom edge of the blade
guard can be used as a reference point for
this.
Raise: smaller cutting depth
Lower: larger cutting depth
Retighten the winged screw. To achieve the
best cutting results, the saw blade should
protrude from the material by no more than
3 mm.

7.2 Cutting Angle Adjustment

Loosen the winged screw [1-9].
Set the cutting depth on the scale to the
required value (the cutting angle scale is
marked in 1°-steps).
Retighten the winged screw [1-9].
WARNING
For mitre cuts, the cutting depth does
not correspond to the value indicated
on the cutting depth scale.

7.3 Cutting Edge Indicator

The cutting mark 0° indicates the position
of the saw blade for right angle cutting.
The cutting mark 45° indicates the position
of the saw blade for 45°cutting.

7.4 Parallel Guide

The parallel guide with scale [2-1] is insert-
ed in the holders on the foot plate [1-6] and
secured with the winged screw [1-10]. The
parallel guide makes possible exact cuts
along a workpiece edge or the cutting of
parallel strips. The maximum cutting width
that can be set is approx. 200 mm.

7.5 Dust Extraction

CAUTION
Inhaled dust may damage the air pas-
sages.
► Tools should be permanently connected
to the dust exhausting plant.
► Wear respirator if you work with dust.
The extraction hose of a commercial vac-
uum cleaner can be connected to the ma-
chine via the connection neck [1-3].

7.6 Replacing the Saw Blade

WARNING
Before exchanging the saw blade, pull
the mains plug from the power sup-
ply socket.
Wear protective gloves!
Saw Blade Installation
The sawing performance and the quality of
the cut depend essentially on the condition
and tooth form of the saw blade. Therefore,
use only sharp saw blades that are suitable
for the material to be worked.
Install a suitable saw blade according to the
illustration and tighten. Take care that the
mounting fl ange [2-8] and the clamping
fl ange [2-6] are correctly positioned.
Observe for installation: The cutting direc-
tion of the teeth (arrow on the blade guard)
must match the direction of the arrow on
the guard.
Check the function of the swinging guard.
