WALL ATTACHMENT
Screw the wall attachment (E) into the wall near to
a power socket in a dry and cool place with a con-
stant temperature (fig. 2, 3).
Then mount the charging unit's round plug (F) into
the clamp fastener.
CHARGING
The battery can either be charged in the machine or
separately. The battery on its own also fits into the
wall attachment (fig. 4 - 5).
GENERAL
1. Always charge the battery in an upright position
(i.e. with the machine or the battery placed in
the wall attachment), in a dry and cool place
with a constant temperature. Not in a damp en-
vironment.
2. When the machine is new, the battery produces
somewhat reduced power levels. After approx.
5 charges and discharges, the battery will pro-
duce full power.
3. The charging unit must not be exposed to rain.
4. The charging unit must not be used for charging
other types of machines or batteries.
5. Make sure that the connection between the bat-
tery and the charging unit is clean.
6. Connect the charging unit to a 230 V wall sock-
et.
7. The charging unit may become warm during
charging, this is quite normal.
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST
TIME
Your garden trimmer arrives from the factory
only partially charged. Before using it for the
first time, the machine should be charged for a
period of 36 hours.
DURING THE CUTTING SEASON
1. Stop cutting and recharge when the cutting
power begins to fall off. Avoid fully discharging
the battery.
2. Always recharge the battery immediately after
use.
3. During the cutting season, the machine must al-

ways be connected to the charger when not in
use.
WINTER STORAGE
1. Remove the battery from the machine. Charge
the battery approx. 36 hours before winter stor-
age. Then pull the charging unit out of the wall
socket.
2. Always store the battery fully charged. The bat-
tery can be stored during the winter with only
one full charge, but we recommend that you re-
charge the battery at least once during the win-
ter to increase the operational life of the battery.
3. After winter storage, the battery must be re-
charged for approx. 36 hours before usage.
4. Store the battery in a cool and dry place at a
constant temperature. Not in a damp environ-
ment.
OPERATION
SETTING-UP
For edge trimming, the lower part can be rotated
180°. Loosen the nut (G) and turn (fig. 6).
To ensure a comfortable working position, the ma-
chine can be adjusted to suit the height of the oper-
ator. Loosen the nut (G) and pull out or push in the
tube. The length of the machine can be adjusted
between 115 – 130 cm.
TRIMMING
1. To use the machine, move the safety catch (H)
forward, after which the machine is started by
squeezing the trigger (I) (fig. 6). The machine
stops as soon as the trigger is released.
2. Make sure that there is no rubbish which could
damage or become entangled in the trimming
line within the area to be trimmed.
3. Make sure that the trimming line is of the cor-
rect length, see under (FEEDING TRIMMING
LINE) below.
4. Angle the machine slightly (10 – 30°) in rela-
tion to the ground surface.
5. Do not overload the motor by running the whole
cutting head into the grass. Allow the outer end
of the trimming line to do the work. Do not
press the machine against the ground.
