With this feature, you can view the current firmware version.
1.
Connect the AC/DC adapter and turn on the drive.
2. Press repeatedly to select "4. Information" and press
menu.
3. Select " 4. System Info" and press
4. Press repeatedly to return to the main screen.

Updating Firmware

Firmware is a software that internally controls the electronic devices. With Update FW feature, it
updates the hardware interface for better device performance. You can upgrade the firmware for
your drive by using the USB device.
Note:

1. Download the latest firmware and copy it into a USB drive.
2. Connect the AC/DC adapter and turn on the drive.
3. Plug in the USB drive to the USB port of the drive.
4. Press repeatedly to select "3. Tools" and press

6. The drive will automatically detect the new firmware and if the version is higher than the
current one, the drive will start to upgrade firmware automatically.
WARNING:
Do not remove the USB drive from your drive or disconnect your drive's power supply until the
firmware updating process is complete.
7. After the firmware updating process is complete, the system will reboot automatically.
