Storage after each use: Do not store your F1 E helmet without first having cleaned and
dried it. Store your helmet (shield in out of use position) in a MSA Gallet protective cover
(GA1043) or enclosed place (closet, locker) away from damp, light and exhaust fumes.
Avoid dropping or knocking the helmet which may cause damage to the shield (dents or
scratches), weaken the shock absorption system, or damage the helmet's finish.
Storage of the shields (spare parts): Store the shield in its plastic bag in a enclosed place
away from damp, light and exhaust fumes.
- During transport, the shield must be arranged in the helmet, which is stored in a MSA Gallet
protective cover (GA1043).
CLEANING THE SHELL AND SHIELDS
- All shell: Clean with soapy water and a soft rag (do not use an abrasive sponge).
- All shields: Clean with CLEAR PILOT (GA1616) or with soapy water and a soft rag.
CLEANING THE HEADCAP AND THE FULL PROTECTOR
Cleaning possible at 30°C with a gentle detergent
