Principles of operation
See the installation diagrams (A and D) inside the
cover at the beginning of the instruction booklet
Thanks to the Video Sender's transmitter
and receiver, you can now send a private
audio-video signal from one appliance to
another over a short distance without wires.
Communication between the transmitter and
receiver is digitised using the MPEG format.
Diagram A – installing a flat screen TV (or
video projector) in a different part of the
room from the main audio-video cabinet is
one example of its use.The Video Sender
eliminates all the problems of long cables or
forcing you to keep your screen close by.The
receiver is installed next to the flat screen
while the other appliances remain in their
cabinet alongside the transmitter in
another part of the room or even in another
room.
Diagram B – you can use a second TV set
or flat panel screen in a room that has no
antenna outlet or doesn't have the same
appliances you have in your main set-up
thanks to the Video Sender. If your main
gear is in the lounge, for example, then you
can see pictures in the other room from one
of these appliances by installing the
transmitter in the lounge and the receiver
close to the second TV set. You can even
operate the source appliance from the
second room via your remote control
handset, just as if you were in the same room.
Diagrams C and D show the connections
between the various appliances.
You can play and hear music if you connect the
transmitter to a suitable outlet (audio out), and the
receiver to an amplifier (audio in) placed in another
room.
