Fix the main electrode (3). To do so, turn off the click wheel (4) until the electrode is completely
seated on the electrode holder of the welding appliance (2). Then turn off the click wheel (4).
3.2.3 Welding for rubber buffer magnetic electrode
Magnetic electrode for the welding of small rivets
for rubber buffers. The electrode (1) is screwed
on the tip of the welding apparatus (2) using the
key with wrench opening 10 (3). At this please
make sure that you do not tighten it too firmly in
order to avoid damages of the copper thread.
Then insert the rivet (4) which needs to be
welded. A magnet (5) makes sure that the rivet does not slip.
3.2.4 Welding of screws
Electrode Ø 4
Electrode for welding copper-plated cap screws
M4x16 directly to the body of fix housings, parts,
etc.
Screw down the electrode (1) to the tip of the
welding appliance (2) using a key with wrench
opening 10 (3). At this please make sure that you do not tighten it too firmly in order to avoid
damages of the copper thread. Then insert the screw M4 (4) which needs to be welded.

3.3 Power connection

Then connect the corresponding electrode for the relevant
operation.
ATTENTION!
Always make sure that the electrical properties of the system
comply with those described by the manufacturer for the use of
this device:
220-230 V One phase – 50Hz
The device is equipped with a plug with protection type IP44
according to IEC 309.
Insert the plug (1) in a compatible isolated ground receptacle (2). In doing so, please consider
the length of the cable included in the delivery of the ROSPOT (3000mm).
3.4 Using the welding appliances
3.4.1 Preparation of the support
In order to ensure flawless welding of the accessory parts (nails, discs, rivets, screws) make
sure that the steel sheet is completely free from possible lacquer coatings.
Furthermore, the welding surface must be perfectly dry and free from dust, traces of grease, oil
and lubricant films.
3.4.2 Welding of accessory parts
Insert the accessory part (nails, discs, rivets, screws) selected for the work which needs to be
performed on the corresponding electrode (refer to the illustration below). Seize the tool
correctly on the shaft (1) and on the lateral handle (2). Position the accessory part which is
already inserted in the corresponding electrode on the steel sheet on which it needs to be
welded. Position the welding appliance vertically towards the steel sheet (3) and completely
press it down in order that the electrode support tip is pushed in (4). In this way the electrode
support tube (5) (outer edge) as well as the accessory part (6) (nails, etc.) gets in contact with
the steel sheet (7).
Press the trigger (8) no longer than five tenth of a second in order to avoid that the accessory
part which needs to be welded is being overheated. In this case it might start annealing and
would subsequently be less tear-proof.
Attention!
Wait for at least 59 seconds after welding before reusing the Rospot.
Provide the following frequency for use:
