Safety notes on the lithium-polymer rechargeable
battery
The battery used in the "earis" is a lithium-polymer battery manufactured in
accordance with the latest standards and safety regulations. Misuse or im-
proper treatment can damage the battery, in which case the Humantechnik
Group assumes no liability.
In extreme cases there is a risk of:
• Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 70°C, e.g. by sun-
light or throwing it into fire.
• Do not expose the battery to water and condensation.
• Do not short-circuit the battery.
• Do not disassemble or deform the battery.
• Store the device / battery in a cool and dry place at room tempera-
ture.
• Only use the chargers provided for the battery.
• When not in use for a prolonged time, recharge the battery in the unit
regularly (every 6 months for approx. 1 hour).
• Charge the battery only at an ambient temperature of 10 °C to 40 °C.
• If the device is obviously defective, do not recharge the battery.
• Refer to the information regarding warranty and disposal.
