Functions

• Audio volume: use the dial located on the right side of the base to set
the volume.
• Ringer volume: set on High for a high ring, Low for a low ring, and Auto
for auto-attendant.
• Dialing mode: set on Tone for DTMF or on Pulse for pulse dialing modes.
• Mute: press the mute key to prevent caller from hearing you. To return to
normal conversation, press the Mute key again.
• Redial: press this key to redial the last number dialed.
• Flash: transfers a call via the PABX. Standard flash time: 300 ms. Flash
time can be set to 100 ms.
• In use LED: when on, indicates that the extension is being used.
• Mute LED: when on, indicates that the party on the line cannot hear the
operator speak.
• Mode: changes dialing mode between Pulse and Tone (DTMF).
• ON/OFF: press this key to connect to the PABX to make a call or to dis-
connect.
