Adjustment
For temperature-adjustment, see figs. [4] and [5].
• Before the mixer is put into service if the mixed
water temperature measured at the point of
discharge varies from the specifiede temperature
set on the thermostat.
• After any maintenance operation on the
thermoelement.
Open the shutt-off valve and check the temperature of
the water with a thermometer, see fig. [4].
Turn the temperature control handle (B) until the water
running out reaches 30 °C, see fig. [4].
- Remove screw (E) and pull off knob top plates (F),
see fig. [5].
- Remove screw (G) and pull off thermostat knob (H),
see fig. [5].
- Pull off thermostat knob (H) and reinstall in such a
way that the 30 °C mark on the knob coincides with
the mark (Q) on the mixer body and reinstal
screw (G), see fig. [5].
- Screw-mount knob top plate (F) and secure with
screw (E), see fig. [5].
Reversed union (hot on right - cold on left).
Replace thermoelement (A), see replacement parts
fold-out page II, ref. No.: 47 282 (1/2").
Adjusting the temperature range, see fig. [6].
• With this thermostatic mixer, the hot water end-stop
can be adjusted to a temperature between 35 °C
und 45 °C.
1. Adjust temperature to 20 °C.
2. Remove knob top plate (F) and temperature control
knob (H).
Caution ! Regulating head (I) should not be adjusted.
3. Pull off red end-stop (R) and refit with the arrow (U)
pointing to the maximum desired temperature.
4. Install temperature control knob (H) in such a way
that the 20 °C mark on the knob coincides with the
mark (Q) on the mixer body.
5. Install knobtop plate (F).
Thermal disinfection, see fig. [6].
1. Remove knob top plate (F).
2. Turn the temperature control knob (H) to the hot
water end-stop.
3. Open valve and let hot water run.
The flushing time during the thermal disinfection
depends on the water temperature. National
standards must be observed.
4. Turn back temperature control knob (H) to cold
water end-stop and reinstall knob top plate (F).
Prevention of frost damage
When the domestic water system is drained,
thermostat mixers must be draind separately, since
non-return valves are installed in the hot and cold
water connections. For this purpose, the mixer must
be removed from the wall.
