Installation of the clip-on mounting set
– The supplied clip-on mounting set is destined for installation of
Sat matrices on rails (clip-on set. acc. to EN 50022)
– Each matrix must be fastened with two clip-on sets
– Install the mounting rail on an even surface. Improper mounting of
the matrix (e.g. twisting of the rail on an uneven surface)
endangers secure installation of the matrix on the rail
– Place the attaching
feet into the gap in
the mounting plate
and lock the snap
hooks by applying
pressure

Problem
LED of the integrated power unit does not
light up
Matrix does not switch
Matrix switches, but no matching picture
appears
The vertical programme does not function
Picture switch-over is too slow

– Place the hooks of
the rail attachment
into the clamping rail
– Lock them into the
clamping rail by
pressure on the
matrix (arrow)
At places where access is difficult,
the release can be effected with a screw driver
Possible cause
Short-circuit in horizontal circuit
Overload in the horizontal circuit
No control signal from the receiver
Input connections are reversed
Overload in vertical circuit
Short circuit in vertical circuit
DiSEqC TM is switched on
– To dismantle the matrix, press down
both releasing levers (arrow)
– Tilt the lower section of the matrix
outward
– If the releasing levers have been
accidentally pressed (without
intending to remove the matrix), the
system is unlocked
– The matrix must be tilted outward and
locked into place once more
Solution
Check the coaxial cable
Reduce the load by an additional power unit,
e.g. for a pre-circuited amplifier
Check for short-circuit free con. from the receiver to the matrix
Check the menu setting of the receiver
Check if the connection from the LNB to the matrix is
correct
Local feeding of inadm. consumer units (e.g. inline amplifiers)
Check the coaxial cable
Set DiSEqC
of the receiver
Note:
The matrix
EXR 5016 is not
suitable for
installation on rails.
– In order to avoid
damaging the
mounting rail when
screwing on the
earthing wire, it is
recommended to
support the matrix
behind the fixing
screw
TM to OFF in the menu setting
