General Instructions

No changes, extensions or modifications may be made to the product without the manufacturer's authorisation.
No liability is accepted for changes made without the manufacturer's authorisation and in such cases the warranty
will cease to be valid.
National directives and safety regulations must be complied with.

Application and intended use

The drum grippers SH1/SH2 are forklift truck attachments for lifting and transporting:

- 205 – 230L steel channel drums in accordance with EN 15750-2

- 208 – 216.5L steel lidded drums in accordance with EN 15750-1

Safety instructions

Any person working with the product is required to have familiarized him/herself with the contents of the
instructions.
Before using the product, it should be checked to ensure it functions correctly. Should any defects appear, it must
not be used.
The German regulations BGV D8 (hoisting, lifting and winching equipment) and BGV D27 (industrial
trucks) must be observed.
Only use for the intended purpose.
The load must not be left in the raised position.
The drums may only be slightly raised when being transported.
Raised drums must only be transported at walking speed.
Take the greatest care when moving over uneven ground.
The specified load capacity must not be exceeded.
Do not walk under suspended loads.
The product must only be used by appropriate workers who have been trained.
Inappropriate use may lead to a risk of crushing.
The given load capacity of forklift trucks and forklift truck attachments must not be exceeded.
