When operating the drum gripper gloves and safety shoes should be worn.
Loading
Drive up to the drum(s) to be lifted with the truck so that the spring mechanism touches the top rim of the drum. As
soon as you start to slowly raise the drum gripper the spring mechanism engages and the drum(s) can be
transported.
If you wish to transport two drums (SH2) these must be standing close together and be of equal weight.
Moving
Lift the drum with the forklift truck slightly and move it slowly.
Raised drums must only be transported at walking speed.
Take the greatest care when moving over uneven ground.
Setting down
As soon as the load touches the ground again the drum gripper automatically disengages.

Maintenance and repair

To guarantee safe working with the product the following checks are necessary:
Regular check for ease of movement of the moving parts and if necessary lubrication with
-
commercially-available grease.
Regular visual inspections and operational checks at intervals of max. one year by a technical specialist.

In the event of damage and particular incidents that could influence the carrying capacity and after repairs,
-
a special test is to be carried out by a technical specialist.
