– Tighten the two M8x10 star head bolts -4-.
– The securing of the partition grille -1- on the right side is per‐
formed in the same manner.
– Fold the rear seat backrest back and lock in position.
Models with variable luggage compartment floor only:
– Lay the plastic tray in the luggage compartment.
– Install variable luggage compartment floor.
Note
Check free movement of variable luggage compartment floor. If
necessary, smooth off contact areas on variable luggage com‐
partment floor in area of the partition grille support struts (for
example with a sharp knife and/or abrasive paper).
Continuation for all vehicles
– Install luggage compartment cover.
Note
Check free movement of luggage compartment cover, adapt in
area of partition grille support struts as necessary.
Proceed as follows if the luggage compartment cover sticks in
area of partition grille support struts:
– Saw off the area, as marked, on the front part of the luggage
compartment cover.
– Smooth off/straighten the cut section using a sharp knife.
– Seal the edges of the cut using a paint stick.
WARNING!
Observe paint manufactures drying period before reinstalling
luggage compartment cover.
