Anomalie
Water comes out of the
side of the filter holder

Cause
- The filter holder is not
positioned correctly.
- The edge of the
saucepan is covered in
coffee.
- The brewing group
is dirty.
- There's no water.
- The water tank is not
correctly positioned.
- The holes in the pot are
clogged, the coffee is
ground too finely or has
been pressed too hard.
The coffee is too ground or
too pressed.
- The coffee that has been
used, is old or has dried.
- The coffee has not been
pressed enough.
- The coffee grounds are
too coarse.
- The coffee is very coarsely
ground.
- Not enough coffee
has been put into the
saucepan.
- The coffee has not been
pressed enough.
The tube is clogged.
Solution
- See section "coffee
filling".
- Clean the pan around
the edge and clean the
coffee brewing group.
- Clean with a damp
cloth.
- Fill the water tank.
- Check that the tank is
correctly positioned by
pressing on its upper part.
- Empty the ladle and
clean with water. Clean
the brewing group with
a damp cloth. Refill the
ladle again and press the
coffee lightly.
Make sure that the grind
size is correct and that
it has not been over-
pressed.
- Use fresh coffee and
once opened, store in an
airtight container.
- Firmly press the coffee.
- Grind the coffee finer.

- Make sure you have put
the correct amount of
coffee in the saucepan.
- Press the coffee more.
Clean the steamer pipe
with a damp cloth to
remove any traces of
milk that have dried and
open the holes with the
