The depth wheel is included in the scope of sup‐
ply or is available as a special accessory.
It limits the working range of the mowing line.
– It helps reduce the risk of the rotating mowing
line causing damage (e.g. tree bark).
– It maintains the correct ground clearance
when edging.
The depth wheel (1) can be locked in three differ‐
ent positions (A, B or C) on the support (2). This
allows the reach of the mowing line to be varied.
A Working range of mowing line extends
beyond the outside diameter of the depth
wheel, e.g. for lawn edging.
B Working range of mowing line extends up to
outside diameter of depth wheel.
C Working range of mowing line does not reach
as far as outside diameter of depth wheel,
e.g. for mowing around trees.
