1 Before you put your flute away,
you'll need to use the cleaning
rod and cloth to clean away the
moisture inside each section of
the instrument.
Here's how:
(a) Pull one corner of the cleaning
cloth through the top of the
cleaning rod. Wrap the cloth
around the cleaning rod.
(b) Insert the cleaning rod through
the head joint, body joint, and
foot joint. Gently rotate the rod
to remove the excess moisture.
(c) Use a clean soft cloth to wipe
the instrument's surface. When
cleaning the keys, press gently
to avoid damaging them.
