Guard Unit set up

This section explains some aspects that affect the configuration parameters of this
equipment, thus, to avoid unexpected problems, it should only be used by the technical
staff in charge of the maintenance of this system.

Mode +

It is a special mode to set up the system.
The options available are selected by means of the
1. To change the language of the messages shown in the display.
* Choose the option wanted by pressing the
corresponding button in the dialing keypad.
Options are: 0-Spanish. 1-English. 2-
French. 3-German.
2. Programming the telephones.
It allows to program th telephones from the guard unit instead of doing it from the
outdoor panel. This option is specially interesting in the Radial System (without pa-
nels). To do it:
* When the jumper or switch of the monitor (or telephone) is activated (PRG)
the unit will have communication with it.
* Dial the telephone number to be assigned,
between 1 and 199. It will be shown in the
SECTION E followed by

Mode M

It allows to change the code to access to program. The code by default is "0".
* When this mode is selected, the
indicator attached to the M key will
light on.
* Insert the new access code (1 to 6 digits) using the dialing keypad,
followed by the "BELL" key. The display will go back to stand-by.
* To correct the code inserted, use the "Delete/Cancel" key and dial it
in again.
Notes:
To exit this mode it is necessary to use the new code programmed.
Record the new code in a safe place. If it is forgotten it will not be possible to access
the program again and it will be necessary to contact the technical department.
