that both lie firmly under the chin. Remove the padding from
the chin strap when doing this.
• All of the straps are the right length when the temple strap
(Fig. 5) leads downward tightly but without cutting, and the
back of the head strap (Fig. 6) runs upward comfortably, but
also tightly. Replace the padding on the chin strap.
• If the strap has been attached with a press rivet, it should not
be removed (Fig. 2b).
2.6.3 Closure
Most of our helmet models are equipped with a snap closure,
which can easily be operated with one hand. It is unlocked by
pressing the red button (Fig. 1).
NOTE: The snap closure can be loosened for comfort without
completely opening the strap system. However, before
beginning the equestrian activity, the snap system must be
closed completely.

4. Care, cleaning, and storage
• Some of our helmets have a washable interior. For the
interior, comfort padding, and the straps, we recommend only
hand washing with mild soapy water or highly diluted mild
detergent. It should be dried at room temperature in a dry
place.
• The helmet shell should be cleaned with lukewarm water and
