and crown strap on the browguard (1) to fit securely. When correctly
fitted, the comfort band should rest across the centre of the forehead
and face skirt should fit closely to the face. Switch battery pack on
and lock visor in lowered position.
Replacement of Filters
Prefilter- Remove prefilter from air inlet to motor unit and insert
replacement. The prefilter should be changed frequently. Main
filter- Pinch clips on top of the browguard together and downwards to
release motor unit and main filter. Remove filter and fit replacement.
The mouth of the filter should align with the rear edge of the spigot
over it's entire periphery. Re-insert motor unit and filter, ensuring
clips locate on top of the browguard at their original position. The
main filter should be changed regularly and should not be used
for more than 40hours. Ensure that shelf life date has not been
exceeded.
Replacement of Disposable Visor Covers
Locate holes in visor cover over metal studs on either side of the
visor.
Replacement of Visor (standard model)
Holding browguard, press the top of the visor firmly from the outside
inwards using thumb and index finger. Unhook visor key hole slots
from browguard pegs located on either side. Discard used visor.
Relocate browguard pegs into key hole slots at top of replacement
visor and pressing firmly, rotate towards browguard and clip in place.
Replacement of Visor (MV model)
Locate visor side tab in slot of visor surround ensuring that top edge
is located in browguard groove. Feed visor round curvature of visor
surround and finally locate lower tabs into chin guard slots.
Replacement of Face Skirt Cassette (MV only)
Cradle inverted Turbovisor on the arm and hold moulded frame. With
free hand, hold the bottom of the face skirt cassette and pull away
from frame with one quick action. Align replacement cassette (4)
