3 - SAFETY

3.1

General safety norms

Danger
It is extremely dangerous to put the coiner box in contact with
water!
Use the coiner box for its intended use only.
Power supply
Do not touch live parts inside the coiner box! It would cause seri-
ous injuries.
Cleaning
Before cleaning the coiner box, turn the main switch off and dis-
connect the power supply.
Repairing and maintenance
In case of failure or faults possibly after a fall, immediately unplug
the coiner. Do not turn the faulty device on. The coiner can be
repaired only by Approved Assistance Centres. The Manufacturer
declines responsibility for damages caused by incorrect repairing
of the machine.
In case of failure and/or malfunctioning contact exclusively quali-
fied assistance service repairmen.
In case of fire use Carbon Dioxide extinguishers (CO2). Do not
use water or dry-powder extinguishers.
3.2

Operators requirements

To guarantee the safety and good functioning of the machine two
operators with different skills are required:
Maintenance technician
A specialized technician in charge of machine and coiner
box installation, maintenance and technical assistance.
Supply operator
An operator in charge of turning the machine on/off, supply-
ing products, removing coins and of internal and external
cleaning of the machine.
If the machine is malfunctioning, the supply operator must
request the intervention of the maintenance technician.
User
The person who uses the machine. Users must NOT perform
any of the tasks of the supply operator or the maintenance
technician.
If the machine is malfunctioning, users should request the in-
tervention of the supply operator or the maintenance techni-
cian.
4 - INSTALLATION OF
THE COINER BOX
This coffee machine is compatible only with stepper type coiners,
2 sale prices, 12V DC power supply.
The coiner box can be installed on the left side of the machine
(using the two existing holes) and it is equipped with a door with
the same bit lock as those located on the top cover and service
door of the machine.
To fix the coiner box on the machine follow the instructions below
with care:
Before installing the coiner box the main switch must be turned off
and the machine unplugged.
Remove the protection cover on the left side of the machine,
unfastening the two fixing screws (Fig. 1).
After removing the cover two multipolar connectors can be seen
(power supply and electronics signal). Gently pull out the electron-
ics signal cable (Fig. 2).
Open the coiner box cover using the supplied key (Fig. 3).
Remove the polystyrene lining (Fig. 4) and the coin collection box
(Fig. 5).
Unfasten the two screws fixing the board protection cover and
remove the cover (Fig. 6).
Insert the power signal connector through the opening on the side
of the coiner box, place the box near the left side of the machine
and fix it by fastening the two supplied screws ( Fig. 7).
Connect the coiner box board to the box display (Fig. 8).
Connect the coiner box board to the coiner (optional) (Fig. 9)
Connect the coiner box board to a power point (Fig. 10)
Insert the black cable of the connector (machine electronic signal)
into the connection on the coiner box board (Fig. 11).
Fix the board protection cover using the two screws unfastened
earlier (Fig. 12).
