Cleaning the air filter
How to proceed:

1. Remove the filter holder from the top section of the housing with the aid of a screwdriver.
2. Remove and shake out the filter fleece or replace if necessary.
3. Push the filter fleece into the filter holder.
– Pay attention to the O ring as it holds the filter holder in the housing.
4. Reassemble the unit in the reverse order.
Removing the motor
If the air flow rate decreases, it is necessary to replace the membranes of the aerator motor. To do this, it is necessary
to remove the aerator motor.
Prerequisite: The housing is open. (→ Opening the housing)
How to proceed:

1. Undo the screws of the cable strain relief and take out the power connection cable.
2. Remove the screws from the motor housing and lift off the housing top section.
– A gasket sheet is located between the top and bottom section of the housing. If it is displaced, it must be correctly
inserted during assembly.
3. Remove the screws on both sides of the motor housing.
4. Take the motor out of the housing.
– Use two bent paper clips or similar tool to lift the motor out of the housing.
Replace membranes
Prerequisite: The motor is removed. (→ Removing the motor)
How to proceed:

1. Lift the air chamber from the membrane frame.
2. Undo and remove the screw in the support disc.
3. Remove the support disc.
4. Remove the membrane from the membrane frame.
5. Insert new membrane.
– Ensure that the membrane tab is positioned in the recess of the membrane frame and is correctly seated in the
groove.
6. Screw the support disc onto the membrane with the screw.
7. After replacing the two membranes: Install the motor. (→ Installing the motor)
Installing the motor
How to proceed:

1. On both sides: Place the air chamber onto the membrane holder.
2. Place the motor back in its housing.
– Ensure that the outlet sockets are pointing upward.
3. Ensure that the O rings are correctly seated on the outlet sockets.
4. Fasten the motor on both sides with the screws at the housing top section.
– First turn in the higher screws.
– Tighten the screws crosswise.
5. Place the top section of the housing onto the bottom section and tighten the screws crosswise.
– Ensure that the strain relief of the power connection cable is correctly located in the recess of the housing.
– Ensure that the gasket sheet is inserted and correctly seated.
6. Place the cable strain relief of the power connection cable into the recess of the housing and secure.
7. Aerator housing: Place the housing top section in place and screw onto the housing bottom section.
– Check that the sealing ring is fitted and correctly seated.
