abilities and by persons without experience in or understanding of the operation of the device, unless they will be supervised or
instructed to use the device safely, in a manner ensuring that the risks involved are understood. Children should not play with the
device. Unattended children should not be allowed to perform the cleaning and maintenance of the device.
Recommendations concerning transport and installation of the device
Warning! Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid. Do not expose the device to precipitation. The device is intended
for indoor use only.
Warning! The device must be disconnected from the power supply during assembly and preparation activities. The pump power
cord must be unplugged from the socket.
The pump is designed for use with clean water only. Contaminants which enter the pump together with the water can lead to
damage to the pump. Use a fi lter in the pump's water suction system.
If the end of the suction hose is lowered into a water tank whose bottom is contaminated with e.g. sand or sludge, or the water
tank does not have a hard bottom, ensure that the end of the hose fi tted with a fi lter is not lowered all the way to the bottom. The
impurity suction pump will then work less effi ciently. In addition, contamination will lead to faster wear of the pump. Excessive
contamination can lead to blockages in the pump's inlet openings, which can cause damage to the pump.
It is forbidden to draw water from tanks where people are present.
Ensure that the end of the suction hose with fi lter is always below the water surface.
The device must be positioned vertically. Tipping or tilting the device leads to malfunction, reduces performance, and can also
result in damage to the device.
It is forbidden to drill any holes in the device, as well as making any other modifi cations of the device not described in the manual.
Move the device by grasping the handle or housing. Do not move the device by pulling on the power cord.
Recommendations for connecting the device to the power supply
Warning! The device should be powered by a residual current device (RCD) with a rated diff erential current of not more than 30 mA.
Before connecting the device to the power supply, make sure that the voltage, frequency and performance of the power supply
corresponds to the values shown on the device's rating plate. The plug must fi t into the outlet. It is forbidden to modify the plug
in any way.
The power supply circuit must be fi tted with a protective conductor and at least a 16 A protective device.
Avoid contact of the power cord with sharp edges, hot objects or surfaces. During operation, the power cord must always be fully
extended and the position of the power cord must be set so that it does not become an obstacle during operation. The power cord
shall not be placed a manner that would pose a risk of tripping. The power supply socket should be located in a place where it is
always possible to quickly remove the device power cord plug. Always pull the power cord by the plug housing when unplugging
it, never by the cord.
If the power cord or the plug are damaged, immediately disconnect it from the power supply and contact an authorised service
centre of the manufacturer for replacement. Do not use the device with a damaged power cord or plug. The power cord or plug
cannot be repaired and must be replaced with a new one that is free of defects if these components are damaged.

DEVICE OPERATION

Installation of the pump
Place the pump on a hard, level and fl at surface. Select the placement location so that you can easily connect both the hoses and
the pump itself to the power supply. When necessary the pump can be fi xed to the surface. The base of the pump has openings
which can be used, e.g. to screw the pump to the base.
Tighten the connector to the pump outlet (II). Do not apply excessive force when screwing on, as plastic threads may be damaged.
Attach the pressure switch to the connector (III). The connector has a ring which allows you to set the switch in such a position
which makes connecting the outlet hose as easy as possible. Do not tighten the rings too much to avoid damaging the threads
and seals.
Connecting the hoses (IV)
The hose intended for sucking water should be rigid so that its walls do not collapse under vacuum. The hose inlet should be
equipped with a fi lter which will stop impurities from being sucked in with water which could damage the pump. The hose inlet
should also be fi tted with a check valve to prevent water from fl owing out when the pump stops fl owing. Otherwise, the pump will
be running dry, which may cause damage to the pump. The check valve will also allow for correct fl ooding of the pump chamber
during preparation for operation.
Connect the hose to the pump inlet using a threaded connection. Do not tighten the connection too much to avoid damaging the
pump inlet thread. If necessary, use PTFE tape to seal the connection. Place the end of the hose equipped with the fi lter and check
valve in the water in such a manner that it is always below the surface.
Connect the hose to the pump outlet using a threaded connection. Do not tighten the connection too much to avoid damaging
the pump inlet thread. If necessary, use PTFE tape to seal the connection. Connect the other end of the hose to the device to be
powered by the pump.
