ingrowing, hardened and thickened nails and for treating corns, calluses and hard skin. It is also suitable
for cosmetic care for your hands, fingernails and artificial nails. The promed emotion set offers gentle and
reliable hand and nail care and is extremely practical to use. The device is equipped with 2 collet chuck
adapters which are provided for numerous cutting attachments and accessories in dental measurements
(Ø 2.332 - 2.350 mm).

familiarize you with the unit in the following sections. Please read the user manual thoroughly before using
the unit for the first time.

Scope of delivery:

Device including cable, transformer plug, case, cleaning brushes, 2 collet chuck adapter and a 41-piece
grinding set. Additional attachments are also available from specialist shops. Inform yourself regarding
the details.

nFormatIon on the unIt
Before operating the unit for the first time, please check that all contents have been delivered and that the
line voltage is correct. The supplied power adapter (A) is an electronic power supply unit intended for an
operating voltage of 100 V~ to 240 V~. Should you require a different plug type for the operation of the
device, you can purchase it from Promed. To change the plug type, press the release (B) and pull the
power plug (C) from the power supply unit (A). Take the required power plug (C) and push it back into
the power supply unit (A).
• The Promed pedisenso duo unit uses a high performance motor. The electronic speed control is
used to smoothly set the speed of the grinding head.
• The collect chuck adapter accept all conventional abrasives with shaft in standardised dental
measurements of 2.332 mm to 2.350 mm. To ensure a long life span of the collet chuck adapter, please
use only quality abrasives with rounded shaft closure and a maximum shaft length of 36 mm!
• Always make sure that the grinding head does not come in contact with other objects when you lay the
handpiece down. There is a risk of the shaft becoming compressed and asymmetrical. Asymmetry in the
grinding head causes damage to the handpiece!
• Grinding head bits are available at your local specialist retailer or Promed. (www.promed.de).
• To ensure hygienic operation, the grinding heads must be disinfected after use.
• The handpiece may only be disinfected using disinfectant wipes.
