Thank you for placing your trust in our range of products. DAF Cool Ultimate is an
air conditioning unit designed and manufactured by Dirna Bergstrom to run off a
stationary vehicle's engine during rest periods in the shade and/or at night.
DAF Cool Ultimate is designed with cutting-edge technology to achieve high
performance, reduced fuel consumption, and a lower level of CO
are the features that make it unique on the vehicle air conditioning market.
Read this document carefully before installing the product. Keep this document for
future reference.
Warnings on handling the product:

- The installation, repair and maintenance of DAF Cool Ultimate may only be carried
out by technical staff with sufficient training in vehicle air conditioning, possible
dangers and applicable standards.
- Dirna Bergstrom is not responsible if faults occur due to improper handling or
installation of the unit, or modifications and replacements made without our express
written authorisation.
- Only use the appropriate tools for each operation.
- DAF Cool Ultimate has been pre-charged with r-134a gas using a high precision
machine.
- Any handling of the DAF Cool Ultimate gas charge without express authorisation
from Dirna Bergstrom automatically voids the unit's warranty.
- DAF Cool Ultimate is fitted with self-sealing charge couplings, breaking the seal
automatically voids the unit's warranty.
- Whenever it is necessary to remove or insert the gas charge in the circuit, it must be
done with the proper equipment and always respecting the environment.
- The recovery of gas from the circuits will never be exact because part of gas may
remain in the recovery circuit.
- Connection to the battery or to the point authorised in the assembly instructions
is absolutely mandatory, otherwise control of the battery will be lost, irreparably
damaging the unit's electronics and voiding its warranty.

Proper use of the product:
- DAF Cool Ultimate is a roof-mounted air conditioning unit suitable only for use in
trucks. It is not suitable for installation and operation in agricultural or construction
machinery.
- If you are unsure how to use DAF Cool Ultimate, check this guide or contact your
installer or Dirna Bergstrom directly.
- After tilting the cabin and the unit has returned to its horizontal position, wait at least
60 minutes before starting it up.
Dirna Bergstrom declares that the DAF Cool Ultimate unit complies with the
requirements of the following EC Directives and that the harmonised standards and
technical specifications listed below have been applied:
