Symptom
• The unit gives out a beeping sound.
• E9 will appear when the unit has a
slant of over 45º (tilting the cabin).
• Water is entering the cabin or is
filtering in from outside.
• The unit works but does not cool.
Cause
• Control panel and electronic control
connection cable poorly connected or
inverted.
• Unit slant 45º or over.
• Run-off pipe or valves blocked.
• EPDM seal poorly attached or defective.
• The cable outputs in the blower and
evaporator cabin cover are not sealed
properly.
• Insufficient or excess load.
• Dirt in the condenser.
• Condenser fan defective.
• Blockage in the circuit.

DAF COOL ULTIMATE
• Take down the control panel's front panel and correctly connect the cable between
the control panel and the electronic control.
• This will disappear when the unit is in a position of less than 45º. The electronic
control detects the indication (the unit must not operate with a slant equal to or
above 45º, in order to avoid damage in the compressor).
• Clean the run-off pipe and valve blockages (Take down the outside cover of the unit
for access).
• Replace the EPDM seal (take down the unit and thoroughly clean the surface where
the EPDM seal is to be attached).
• Seal the cable output in the blower and evaporator cabin cover (remove the unit's
outside cover for access).
• Verify the load by checking the pressure; if it is below 0.5 bars or above 5.0 bars
with the unit running, restore the load and vacuum deair the circuit for at least 30
minutes, then introduce 250 g of R134a gas (the unit has 250 g in each circuit).
• Clean the condenser with pressurised air.
• Connect or replace the condenser fan.
• Check the pressure; if it is below 0.5 bars with the unit running, clean the circuit or
replace the obstructed components (possibly the continuous flow capillary pipe).
