General information
This appliance is intended for: canning, cooking, preparing hot drinks, maintaining a hot liquid, blanching vegetables,
sterilizing must, etc.
Dense liquids must be heated slowly and stirred continuously to prevent them from burning. Switching on the pot
without water or other liquid can damage the enamel surface. Allow the appliance to cool down before using it again.
Be careful when adding water to the appliance that is in operation, there is a risk of scalding from hot steam.
When used for the first time, an odour may occur, but it will disappear after a short time.
Capacity
The appliance has a capacity of 27 litres. The liquid level must not be higher than 4 cm below the upper edge of the
appliance. Maximum 11 jars with a volume of 0.72 litres or 34 jars with a volume of 0.37 litres.
Important information
Boil the pot before using it for the first time.
Fill the appliance with about 6 litres of water, set the temperature to maximum, set the timer to 60 minutes and
switch on the appliance by pressing the START/STOP button. After the set time has elapsed, the appliance switches off
automatically. After cooling and pouring out the water, the appliance is ready for use. When cold, the body of the pot
may have an elliptical shape that flattens when heated.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Insert the canning rack into the appliance.
2. Place the closed jars on the rack.
3. Fill the appliance with water up to 75 % of the height of the jars. Make sure
that the jars are well sealed so that no water enters them.
4. Place the lid on the pot.
5. Canning - turn the knob to select the desired temperature (START/STOP)
and time (TIMER). To start the program, press START/STOP (Fig. 1). The pot
starts to heat up. When the appliance reaches the selected temperature,
the clock icon will appear on the display and the timer will start counting
down (Fig. 2). An acoustic signal announces the end of the program.
6. Juice production - turn the START/STOP knob all the way to the right to
select the maximum temperature, press the TIMER button, the timer will
turn off (Fig. 3). Press the START/STOP button, the pot will heat up to the
highest temperature and will generate the maximum amount of steam to
reduce the juice. Once the juice is reduced to the desired density, press the
START/STOP button to turn off the program.
7. KEEP WARM (maintaining the temperature) - select the desired
temperature, press the TIMER button, the infinity icon will appear on the
display, the timer is off (Fig. 4). Press the START/STOP button, the pot will
heat up to the desired temperature and will maintain it until you press
START/STOP to turn it off.
WARNING! If the container icon appears on the display, the liquid has
completely evaporated. Carefully add the liquid immediately, there is
a risk of scalding!
Warning: The stated time and temperatures are only indicative, they depend
on the amount of water and ripeness of the fruits, etc.
