Caution! Chemical substances contained
in some dust particles generated during
sand, saws, grinding, drilling or other
construction activities may cause can-
cer, birth defect or harm to fertility.
WARNING! Chemical substances contained in some
dust particles generated during sand, saws, grinding,
drilling or other construction activities may cause can-
cer, birth defect or harm to fertility Take some chemical
substances for example:
• Lead-based paint
• Transparent silicon dioxide contained in the
bricks, cement and other stone products
• Hazard level of arsenic and chromium produced
in chemically treated wood depends on frequency of
such kind of work In order to avoid getting in touch
with such chemical substances: since the hazard de-
pends on the time you spend on such kind of work,
you should avoid contact with such chemical compo-
sitions
• Please work in well ventilated conditions
• Please wear approved protective equipment dur-
ing work such as dust mask with the design of filter-
ing tiny dusts
Supplementary instructions for use of circular saw
• When using the power tool, you should pay attention
to the following points:
• the saw blade shall be intact without deformation,
crimp and lack of saw tooth or fracture;
• no saw blade made of high speed steel shall be
used;
• no blade of any grinding wheel shall be used for
the tool;
• saw blade not conforming to stipulations in the in-
structions shall not be used;
• do not exert lateral pressure on disk of the saw
blade to stop the saw blade;
• ensure correct operation of retraction mechanism
in all protection system;
• before change, adjustment or other maintenance
work is carried out, the plug shall be pulled out from
the power supply
• When the power tool is used, advance speed shall
be controlled at a moderate level according to materi-
als of different hardness
• When the power tool is used, no foreign matter such
as iron nail is allowed in processed wood; in case of
hard woody lump, advance speed shall be decreased
• When protective cover is removed, operation is pro-
hibited
• Saw blade shall be kept clean and sharp to reduce
the breakdown and rebound to the minimum
• DANGER! During operation, your hands must get
away from the sawing area and shall not touch the
saw blade When the saw blade is rotating, the work-
piece shall not be inserted When the saw blade is
still rotating, you shall not fetch the machined parts
with hands
• Be sure to clench the power tool tightly with hands
Do not put your hand or fingers behind the circular saw.
If rebound occurs, the circular saw is likely to jump
back into your hands thus resulting in severe personal
injury (faulty operation is indicated in figure 13.1).
• When cutting is carried out, wider base portion
of circular saw shall be placed on stably supported
part of the workpiece rather than on the part to be
cut down (proper operation is indicated in figure 14;
fault operation is indicated in figure 13.2) If the work-
piece is very short or small, it should be clamped Do
not make an attempt to support short workpiece with
hands
• Circular saw shall not be used upside down for saw-
ing operation because it is very dangerous and may
even cause severe accident (as shown in figure 15).
Before commencing operation
• Use the power tool only for cutting material recom-
mended by the manufacturer
• The saw blade arrow must always point in the same
direction as the guard cover arrow
• During operation never fix (bind, wedge, etc.) the
sliding guard cover open
• Avoid blocking of the sliding guard cover or its clog-
ging with sawdust If this is the case switch off the
power tool, fix the malfunction and only then continue
operation
During operation
• Never start cutting until the saw blade reaches its
full speed
• Always process only one blank - this is the only way
to fix it properly.
• While processing long blanks use the clam ping de-
vices and be sure to provide a support under the long
end of the blank Never make a third person hold the
working blank
• Never remove sawdust or blank waste-ends while
the power tool motor is running
• If during operation the saw blade gets stuck in the
blank or is blocked by the waste-ends, immediately
switch off the power tool and only then eliminate the
cause of the saw blade failure
• Do not work materials containing asbestos Asbes-
tos is considered carcinogenic
• Do not use the power tool to cut firewood.
• Avoid stopping the power tool motor when under load
• Avoid overheating your power tool, when using it for
a long time
• Never cover the cuttings outlet with fingers.
• Never operate the power tool over your head level
After finishing operation
• The power tool can be removed from the workplace
only after the saw blade has been switched off and
stopped completely
• Never try to slow down the inertial rotation of the
saw blade with the spindle lock or by applying effort
to the saw blade lateral surface If you use the spindle
lock for this purpose, the power tool will fail and your
warranty will be cancelled
• The saw blades can get very hot during operation -
do not touch them until they have cooled down
Following symbols are used in the operation manual,
please remember their meanings Correct interpreta-
tion of the symbols will allow correct and safe use of
the power tool
