6. Checking the contra-angle before each use

Follow the check procedure below before use. If any abnormalities are found, stop using the contra-angle immedia-
tely and contact your dealer.
1) Check if the head cap or cap is fi rmly tightened.
2) Insert the bur/fi le. (Refer to chapter 4)
3) Rotate the contra-angle for about one minute at the max rotation speed of the attached motor. During rotation,
check for abnormalities such as abnormal rotation vibration.
4) After the contra-angle rotation has completely stopped, touch the contra-angle head to confi rm the head is not
heating abnormally.
7. Lubrication
1) Disconnect the contra-angle from the motor.
2) Remove the bur/drill from the contra-angle.
3) Mount the Tip Nozzle into the spray can port.
4) Insert the Tip Nozzle into the Drive Air Port of the contra-angle. Hold the contra-angle and spray for approxima-
tely 2-3 seconds. Apply lubricant until it expels from the contra-angle head for at least 2 second (Fig. 8).

Before sterilizing, please lubricate the handpiece.

8. Cleaning, Disinfection and Sterilization

8.1 Cleaning
CAUTION
– When cleaning the external contra-angle surface, be careful that the water doesn't enter into the contra-angle rear.
– Use a damp cloth to remove any visible residue from the surface of the contra-angle.
