Putting into Operation

The voltage on the constant voltage regulator
(LED indicator) must be the same as the voltage
of the driver. The constant voltage regulator is suita-
ble exclusively for Bosch industrial battery-operated
drivers of the Exact series, the AngleExact series, and
the BT-Exact series with a voltage of between 9.6 V
and 14.4 V. Otherwise, there exists the risk of fire and
explosion.
Connect the constant voltage regulator to the industri-
al battery-operated driver (see Mounting > Attachment
of the Driver). Then connect the constant voltage reg-
ulator to the power supply (see Mounting > Connec-
tion to the Power Supply).
On/Off Switching of the Constant Voltage
Regulator
You must first start operation of the 4Exact constant
voltage regulator before you operate the driver.
The constant voltage regulator may be switched
on only when the driver is attached to the con-
stant voltage regulator through the voltage
ttachmentadapter (see Mounting > Attachment
of the Driver) or when the D-sub connector is not
mounted in the connection socket 13.

Switching on:
Place the on/off switch 12 in position I.
Switching off:
Place the on/off switch 12 in position 0.
On the constant voltage regulator, the LED indicator
with the voltage of the voltage adapter lights up when
the voltage adapter is connected to the connection
socket 13 of the constant voltage adapter.
On/Off Switching of the Driver
Follow the operating instructions of the connected in-
dustrial battery-operated driver.

Working Instructions

During work, take care that the constant voltage regu-
lator is not pulled accidentally off of the work surface.
Either mount the constant voltage regulator securely
to the wall (see Mounting > Wall Mounting) or place the
connecting cord in such a way that you cannot trip
over it.
Overload Protection
14
In the event that the constant voltage regulator is over-
loaded, the LED indicator 14 lights up. When the LED
indicator 14 lights up, this indicates a malfunction.
Stop working. Switch off the driver and the constant
voltage regulator. Allow the constant voltage regulator
to cool down for about 20 minutes.
Then start once again.
If the LED indicator 14 then continues to light up, the
constant voltage regulator is broken. Have it repaired
by an authorized customer service center for Bosch
power tools.
