IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNINGS

• Do not place the appliance on towels or mats such as to prevent the flow of
air thus causing damage to the appliance and other items.
• Always leave at least 5 cm of space on all sides of the product in order to
allow proper ventilation.
WARNING! Risk of fire.
• Do not use the product on surfaces that are not heat resistant such as non
heat resistant glass or wood surfaces, or any inflammable material. Use
surfaces such as tiles, or on any surface protected by a heat-resistant
coating.
• When first turned on there can be a slight odour. To avoid the odour being
transmitted to the food, operate the appliance empty at the maximum
temperature for around one hour. This is only necessary the first time the
product is used, the odour will then be eliminated.
• Avoid using the appliance for purposes other than those for which it was
designed and built.
• To avoid the risk of fire, keep the appliance away from walls, curtains,
carpets and other inflammable objects while in operation. Do not place
anything on top of the product when it is operating.
• Do not store the following materials within the appliance:
- paper
- cardboard
- plastic
DO NOT USE THE OVEN IF THE POWER LEAD IS
DAMAGED, OR IF ITS FUNCTIONALITY IS SUSPECT.
• The length of the power lead is kept short in order to prevent
tripping or its being an obstacle.
• If necessary an extension lead can be used.
• If you use extension leads or multiple sockets:
- their current rating must be equal to or higher than that of the product;
- If the original power lead has an earth then the extension lead must also
include an earth connection;
- they must not protrude or hang from the table or shelf upon which the
product is positioned.
