7. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
7.1) RP200 - Chest strap
Used to avoid slipping forwards and as a restraint for patients seated in a wheelchair
or in a commode chair. The strap is particularly comfortable, thanks to the padded fabric used
in its manufacture. It has a length-adjustable tape and clip closures that allow quick and correct
positioning for any build and on all wheelchair, commode chair or high chair models, and also
quick release in the case of an emergency.
How to use
1. Seat the patient in the commode chair or in the wheelchair
2. Wrap the strap around the chest
3. Pass the two belts behind the back
4. Close the buckle
5. Adjust the length of the belt according to need.
7.2)RP210 - Girdle chest belt
RP215 - Butterfly-shaped girdle chest belt
Used to avoid slipping forwards and as a chest restraint for patients seated in a wheelchair
or in a commode chair. The belt is particularly comfortable, thanks to the padded fabric used
in its manufacture. It has length-adjustable tapes, with clip couplings on an X-shaped support,
clip closures that allow quick and correct positioning for any build and on all wheelchair,
commode chair or high chair models, and also quick release in the case of an emergency.
How to use
1. Seat the patient in the commode chair or in the wheelchair
2. Position the girdle on the patient's chest
3. Position the two braces at the top in a manner that they pass across the back of the backrest
4. Also pass the two tapes at the bottom at the sides of the harness across the back of the backrest
5. Attach the four couplings to the X-shaped connector and lock them in place with the snap buckles
6. Adjust the length of the braces and belt to ensure a comfortable fit for the patient
7.3)RP220 - Full pelvic belt
RP225 - Separate pelvic belt
Used to avoid slipping forwards and as a restraint for patients seated in a wheelchair
or in a commode chair who are unable to maintain a correct seated position. Keeps the thighs
divided. The belt is shaped to guarantee comfortable dividing of the legs and restraint.
Comfort is guaranteed by the padded fabric used in its manufacture. It has length-adjustable
tapes and clip closures that allow quick and correct positioning for any build and on all wheelchair,
commode chair or high chair models, and also quick release in the case of an emergency.
How to use RP220
1. Position the pelvic belt on the seat of the commode chair or wheelchair, positioning it with
the Koala trademark facing downwards
2. Pass the two highest tapes on the back of the backrest, adjust the length to obtain a stable
fit and secure the tapes with the snap buckle
3. Seat the patient with the pelvic belt already positioned on the seat
4. Pass one of the two straps from the inner thigh outwards to connect it with the smaller tape,
adjust the length of the tape to ensure a comfortable fit for the patient and secure the strap
with the snap buckle
5. Repeat the operation with the other leg
