WOOD
BBx2
Wood: Locate the open holes for mounting at the corners of the mounting plate and drill 1/8 in. pilot hole in the center. If a wooden stud is encountered, use
the wood screws (BB) provided to secure the mounting plate directly to stud.
To make installation easier, a pre-attached support wire is located on the back of the fixture. Attach the hook end through the center hole of the mounting
bracket to suspend the fixture in place while the wire connections are made.
Fixture must be properly grounded. Ground wires are usually either green or bare copper. Connect the fixture ground wire to the ground wire from the J-box
using a wire nut (DD). Connect the black supply lead (HOT) to the black fixture wire; and the white supply lead (NEUTRAL) to the white fixture wire using
wire nuts (DD). Secure the wire nuts properly to prevent the wires from coming loose. Push excess wire back into the J-box.
Leave the support wire attached to the mounting bracket. Lift the fixture up to the J-box to engage it with the mounting bracket. Align the mounting slots on the
back of the fixture with the metal tabs on the mounting bracket. Once the tabs are fully inserted into the slots, rotate the fixture counter- clockwise until the tabs
click and lock into place and the fixture is secure.
Slowly remove hands from the fixture. In the event the fixture was not installed properly, it will hang down. Slowly let the fixture down and try installing
again. This should prevent the wire connections from being pulled apart.
Restore power to the J-Box.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Periodically clean the fixture and diffuser using a mild, non-abrasive cleaner and soft cloth. When cleaning the fixture, make sure the power
is turned off. Do not spray cleaner directly onto any part of the fixture or LEDs.
