INSTRUCTIONS before using this tool. These
instructions should always be complied with to reduce the
risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Make sure that the voltage used corresponds to the
voltage marked on the tool's identification plate.
Never use the tool if its casing or any bolts are
missing. If the casing or bolts have been removed,
replace them prior to use. Maintain all parts in good
working order.
Always secure tools when working in elevated
positions.
Never touch the bit or other moving parts during use.
Never start the tool when its rotating part is in contact
with the workpiece.
Never lay the tool down before its moving parts have
come to a complete stop.
ACCESSORIES: The use of accessories other than
those recommended in this manual might present
a hazard.
REPLACEMENT PARTS: When servicing use only
identical replacement parts.
SCREW DRIVER SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Never touch the chuck or other metal parts of the
screw driver when screwing into walls, boards or
other surfaces covering electrical wiring. Hold the
screw driver around plastic parts to prevent electric
shocks.

Match bit to screw size to prevent damage to the
screw head.
Never cover vents since they must always be open
for proper motor cooling.
Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas and
workbenches invite accidents.
Consider work area environment. Do not expose
power tools to rain. Do not use power tools in damp
or wet locations. Keep work area well lit. Do not use
power tools in places where there is a risk of fire or
electric shock.
Guard against electric shock. Avoid body contact with
earthed or grounded surfaces (e.g. pipes, radiators,
cookers, refrigerators).
Keep children away. Do not let visitors touch the tool
or extension cord. All visitors should be kept away
from the work area.
Store idle tools. When not it use, the tool should be
stored in a dry, high or locked-up place, out of
children's reach.
Do not force the tool. It will do the job better and safer
when used at the rate for which it was intended.
Use the right tool. Do not force small tools to do the
job of a heavy duty tool. Only use this tool for the
purposes for which is was designed.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery,
they can get caught in moving parts. Rubber gloves
and non-skid footwear are recommended when
working outdoors. Wear protective hair covering to
contain long hair.
Use safety glasses. Always use a face or dust mask if
the operation is dusty.
Do not abuse the cord. Never carry the tool by the
cord or yank it to disconnect it from the power socket.
Keep the cord away from sources of heat, oil and
sharp edges.
Secure the workpiece. Use clamps or a vice to hold
the workpiece. It is safer than using your hand and it
frees both hands to operate the tool.
Always keep well balanced.
Remove adjusting keys and spanners. Get into the
habit of checking to see that all keys and adjusting
spanners have been removed from the tool before
turning it on.
Avoid unintentional starting. Do not carry the plugged-in
tool with your finger on the trigger. Ensure the switch
is off when plugging in your tool.
Use appropriate extension cords. When the tool is
used outdoors, use only extension cords intended for
outdoor use.
