Preface
Read this manual carefully before installation, use and service of this product.
Replace the manual immediately if lost. Nederman reserves the right, without
previous notice, to modify and improve its products including documentation.
This product is designed to meet the requirements of relevant EC directives.
To maintain this status, all installation, maintenance and repair is to be done
by qualified personnel using only original spare parts. Contact the nearest
authorized distributor or Nederman for advice on technical service and
obtaining spare parts. If there are any damaged or missing parts when the
product is delivered, notify the carrier and the local Nederman representative
immediately.

Safety
For reasons of safety, this manual must be studied before using the L-PAK
for the first time. Machine plate, information and warning signs/decals, see
figure 8.
Persons coming into contact with the product should be aware of and observe
the information and warning signs/decals. The signs/decals should be kept
clean so they are readable and interpretable. If they are missing or are no
longer legible they should be replaced immediately.
In accordance with the European standard the incoming 3 phase supply should
be fitted with a hand operated disconnecting device that conforms to the
demands on switch-disconnectors. The disconnecting device must be mounted
within 2-3 m from the unit and be clearly visible from the unit. Refer to local
and national standards when located outside of Europe.
The continuity of the protective current circuit should be checked before the
unit is used.
Check that the supply voltage and frequency correspond with the data on the
unit's machine plate before connecting to the mains supply.
The unit should be connected to earth by the electrician carrying out the
installation.
All power conductors and earth conductors should be checked and if necessary
re tightened a few months after commissioning to ensure good contact. Work
on the electrical equipment may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
