Insert cartridge / film pouch
Note
If cartridges are used again, remove
hardened material from the metering
nozzle.
Cut off the tip of the nozzle far enough
that no unnecessary pressure is built up.
Insert cartridge (Fig. V)

Press switch-on inhibitor for ON/OFF switch [3].
▸
Pull out push rod [1].
▸
Place the cartridge into cartridge holder [6].
▸
Press ON/OFF switch [4].
The push rod moves forward up against the

cartridge.
▸
Cut off the tip of the cartridge nozzle.
The cartridge can now be used.

Insert film pouch (Fig. V/VI)
▸
Press switch-on inhibitor for ON/OFF switch [3].
▸
Pull out push rod [1] according to the film pouch
size.
▸
Push film pouch into cylinder tube [7].
▸
Press the push rod [1] up against the end of the
film pouch.
▸
Cut open the film pouch.
▸
Hold metering nozzle [9] against the end of the
film pouch and cylinder tube [7].
▸
Screw on lock nut [8].
▸
Cut off the tip of the metering nozzle.
The film pouch can now be used.

Set feed speed
▸
To change the feed speed, turn thumb wheel [2].
• Position 1: Lowest feed speed
• Position 6: Highest feed speed
Note!
The operating time of the battery is short-
er when a high feed speed is selected.

Anti-drip function
The device has an automatic anti-drip function.
Note
When ON/OFF switch [4] is released,
the motor runs on briefly to relieve push
rod [1]. This prevents dripping. When
the tube is empty, the motor runs on
briefly to relieve the push rod.
Overload

When
builds up pressure.

Should material nevertheless not appear, check
whether:
— The nozzle tip has been cut off.
— The cartridge is not leaking.
— Hardened material has been removed from the
nozzle.
— The cartridge is not damaged or frozen.
— The push rod is free of sealant or adhesive.

Remove the battery before carrying

Do not use any lubricants or cleaning solutions.
