Carefully center hood shield on edge of hood. Note the position where the two (2) brackets installed in Step 3 above
will align on the hood edge. Mark this area with a grease pencil and then carefuly set hood shield aside.

Wrap a piece of protective film over the edge of hood at the two (2) areas marked in Step 4 above.

Center the hood shield back on edge of hood. Slide the bracket clips onto the edge of the hood. NOTE: Use caution to
ensure that the bracket clips are positioned on the protective film that was installed in Step 5 above.

NOTE: Actual application may vary slightly from illustrations.
Thread a small screw with small washer through the outboard hole of the hood shield, and screw into
bracket to attach a bracket to the hood shield. Repeat for remaining bracket.
