Welding process
Set welding parameters, see page

• Allow welding temperature to be reached, display 3, see page 14.
• Swivel hot-air blower (3) up to the stop using swivel lever (19). The welding process starts automatically via
automatic drive.
Check welding process, see page 14.

If necessary, correct welding parameters, see page
•
• After welding, raise the hot-air blower (3) with the swivel lever (19) as high as it will go. The ball press
screw of the transportation safety device for the hot-air blower (16) must lock in place.
The welding process will stop automatically.

• After finishing welding turn off the heating with buttons
• Allow the hot-air blower (3) to cool.
Switch off tool at main switch (17).

Disconnect power supply cord (2) form the line/mains.

Maintenance
• Clean the tool's air filter (13) with a brush when dirty.
• Clean welding nozzle (4) with wire brush.
• Check power supply cord (2) and plug for electrical and mechanical damage.
Service and Repair
• The tool must be checked at an authorised Service Centre if "maintenance; servicing" appears on display (15)
• Repairs should only be carried out by authorised Leister Service Centres. They guarantee a correct and
reliable repair service within 24 hours, using original spare parts in accordance with the circuit diagrams
and spare parts lists.
Warranty
• For this tool, we generally provide a warranty of two (2) years from the date of purchase (verified by invoice
or delivery document). Damage that has occurred will be corrected by replacement or repair. Heating elements
are excluded from this warranty.
• Additional claims shall be excluded, subject to statutory regulations.
• Damage caused by normal wear, overloading or improper handling is excluded from the warranty.
