Installation
STEP 1:
Choose the location and mark the studs
A. Choose the location, keeping in mind the
following restrictions.
a. Install the TV on a wall that is both
vertical and flat.
b. Do not install the Wall Mount on curved
wall surfaces such as a pillar, or where
the corners or the sides of the TV
protrude away from the wall surface.
c. Do not install the TV over or under an
air conditioner.
d. The Wall Mount is not compatible with
walls that have metal studs.
B. For wood stud construction, use your
stud finder to find two studs. Follow the
instructions that came with the stud finder
and mark the stud locations in pencil.
C. For concrete walls, there is no need to
locate and mark the stud.
STEP 2:
Mark the screw locations on the wall.
A. Clear a table or floor space for your
television.
CAUTION! The screens of many flat panel
televisions are fragile. The space must be
completely clear of obstructions that could
damage the television.
B. If necessary, remove the television from
its base, following the instructions in the TV's
operating instructions.
CAUTION! When moving the television, take
care not to touch the screen.
CAUTION! Be sure that two or more persons
carry the TV when transporting, mounting, or
dismounting it.
C. Lay your television face down on the space
that you've cleared.

D. Locate the "VESA" mount screw holes on
the back of the television. These will form a
rectangle or square that measures 200, 300,
400, 500 or 600 mm (approximately 8, 12, 16,
20 or 24 inches) across.
E. Locate the top pair of "VESA" mount screw
holes. Measure the distance from the center
of one screw hole to the top of the television.
Write the measurement in the space below.
LINE 1: Write down the distance from the center of
the top "VESA" mount holes to the top of the television.
inches (or) mm
F. Measure the horizontal distance between
centers for the top two "VESA" mount holes.
Circle the measurement in the left column
below. Write the corresponding Adjustment
Distance into the space below.
Distance between the top
"VESA" mount holes.
Approx. 8" (200 mm)
Approx. 12" (300 mm)
Approx. 16" (400 mm)
Approx. 20" (500 mm)
Approx. 24" (600 mm)
LINE 2: Write down the Adjustment Distance for your
VESA mount holes.
inches (or) mm
G. Subtract to get the Top Screw Distance.
Write your answer in the space below.
LINE 3: Subtract Line 2 from Line 1 to get the Top
Screw Distance and write down the result.
inches (or) mm
H. Determine how high on the wall you want
the television to be.
I. For concrete walls, make a small pencil
mark where you want the Top Center of the
television to go.
Adjustment Distance
2-1/8" (55 mm)
2-1/2" (65 mm)
2-3/4" (70 mm)
3" (75 mm)
3-1/8" (80 mm)
