Before you use the appliance for the first time, please do as follows: carefully unpack the appliance and remove all
the packaging material. Keep the material (plastic bags and cardboard) out of reach of children. Check the appliance after
unpacking for any damage, possible from transportation. Place the scale on a firm, flat surface. Remove the batteries from
the protective packaging and insert with the correct polarity. See the diagram inside the battery compartment.
Press the UNIT button on the back of the scale to select the correct measuring unit (kg/st/lb).
