6 Removing the BFS Assembly

• Contact point DC+ and contact point
grounding conductor (PE) to 0 V
(threaded hole for 1 lid screw)
• Contact point DC- and contact point grounding conductor (PE) to 0 V
(threaded hole for 1 lid screw)
Damage to the inverter due to electrostatic discharge
Touching electronic components can cause damage to or destroy the inverter through
electrostatic discharge.
• Ground yourself before touching any component.

Position Designation
A Area of the assembly STP-BFS that can be touched without consequence
This area can be used as a holding point during mounting.
Rest No other areas may be touched
Procedure:
1. Disconnect the inverter from all voltage sources and discharge see section 5, page 12.
