MEASURING OBJECT/LIQUID
TEMPERATURE
The Infrared Thermometer can measure objects
and liquids from 32°F to 221°F (0°C - 105°C). To
measure the temperature of an object or liquid
using your Digital Infrared Thermometer, follow
these steps:
1.
Press the
thermometer on. All symbols on the
display will momentarily appear, Fig. 1.
2.
Ensure that the thermometer is in Object
mode; the Object symbol will be on the
display, Fig 2. To alternate between modes
press and release the PERSON/OBJECT
Mode button until you see the desired
measurement symbol on the display.
3.
Aim the infrared lens at the object you
wish to measure, holding the thermometer
approximately 1" away from the surface,
Fig 3.
Press and release the MEASURE button.
4.
The Object symbol, the Scan in Progress
symbol, and "00" will show on the display,
Fig. 4.
5.
Within one-second, the thermometer will
beep once, and the temperature reading
will be displayed, Fig. 5.
6.
After about one minute after use, the
thermometer will automatically beep and
shut off.
