ASSEMBLY
Use the exploded drawing as your guide to assemble the hydropneumatic workshop press. Lay all parts and assemblies out in
front of you before beginning. The following procedure is recommended:
2.1
The hydropneumatic workshop press is delivered on a pallet or packaged. If you are using a pallet truck or a crane to
move the structure, make sure that the hydropneumatic workshop press is balanced so that it does not tip.
If a forklift truck is used, two support zones are recommended (see drawing A).
2.2
Attach one base section to left post using bolts, washers, lock washers and nuts then attach another to right post.
2.3
Insert workbench pins into the holes in the posts, then insert the joined press workbench into press frame.
2.4
Move the pump assy to the outside of the post. Use bolts and washers to twist tight on the right connecting plate.
2.5
Move the hand winch to the outside of the post. Use bolts, washers, lock washers and nuts to twist tight on the left
connecting plate and fi x to the relevant roller.
2.6
Assemble the nylon ring to gauge fi tting. Put the pressure gauge and twist tight as possible: otherwise it will be leak.
Attach the gauge fi tting to the suitable upper cross beam and twist bolts.
Dismantle the plug screw of Junction rod after adjust and tight the gauge direction. Attach the Junction rod to the gauge
fi tting and twist tight.
2.7
Tighten all other bolts and nuts of the press.

BEFORE FIRST USE
3.1
Remove the air from the hydraulic system.
To purge the circuit manually
- Open the safety valve by turning it to the left.
- Pump the hydraulic unit several times.
- Close the safety valve by turning it fully to the right.
To purge the circuit using the air system
- Open the safety valve by turning it to the left.
- Connect the male quick-release coupling to the female end of the air supply hose.
- Operate the air valve and allow the pump to run for a few moments.
- Close the safety valve by turning it fully to the right.
3.2
Check all parts and conditions, if there is any part broken, stop using it and contact your supplier immediately.
4.
USE AND OPERATION (EN 1494+A1)
4.1
Place the pair of V onto the press workbench, then insert workpiece onto the pair of V.
4.2
Close the short release valve and release valve by turning it clockwise until it is fi rmly closed. Use handle let the piston
rod fast down.
4.3
Align workpiece and ram to ensure center-loading.
4.4
Once ram has fully retracted, remove workpiece from the press workbench.
5.
MAINTENANCE (EN 1494+A1)
5.1
Lubricate the axes and moving parts at regular intervals.
5.2
The elements of the hydraulic workshop press should be kept clean and protected from aggressive conditions at all
times.
5.3
Always use original spare parts.
5.4
Check the oil level of the pump with the piston of the cylinder fully retracted and refi ll as required in accordance with the
volume indicated in the table. To perform this operation, you must fi rst release the side cover of the hydropneumatic
workshop press that allows us to reach the tank. The cover is threaded on its upper part.
5.5
IMPORTANT: An excess of oil may affect the operation of the hydraulic unit.
5.6
Only use hydraulic oil,
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Never use brake fl uid.
5.7
A frequent inspection should examine:
•
Wear on the piston, cylinder, pump, accessories or incorrect connections.
•
Oil leaks and air leaks, signs of corrosion.
•
Damage to the structure, accessories, table and supports, lost screws or plug-ins.
6.
TO CHANGE THE MANOMETER
Remove the metal cover, position the manometer, making sure that the O-ring seal which is inside
the manometer casing remains at the bottom upon installation. Secure the manometer according to
the fi gure, without applying excessive force.
7.
REPAIR
7.1
Both the maintenance and repair of these hydropneumatic workshop presses should be carried out by qualifi ed
personnel, who as a result of their training and experience are familiar with the hydraulic and pneumatic systems used.
7.2
Both the repair kit, which exclusively contains the o-rings and seals of the jack, and the spare parts sets must be
ordered using the reference assigned in the table.
7.3
TO PURGE THE HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT: Please see paragraph 3.1.
