The handpiece

The POLYLUX light can be installed in the assistant or
dentist element.
Insert the light guide into the bushing on the bottom of
the assistant or dentist element until it engages.
CAUTION
Always grasp the light guide by its anti-kink sleeve (1),
and never by its tubing!
Do not squeeze, twist or kink the light guide!
Observe a minimum bending radius of 80mm.
Screw the handle sleeve with fiber optic rod onto the
handpiece clockwise.
The handpiece can be turned.
Before making the composite filling, reduce the bright-
ness of the lamp for the working area in order to avoid
premature hardening of the filling material.
On the unit model this is done by actuating composite
C
key C.
The intensity of the lamp cannot be changed while com-
posite key C is activated.
