3. INSTRUCTIONS
The mobile checks if the SIM card is valid after insertion automatically.
Next message will be displayed in sequence:
- Enter your password: If you have set the phone password (see page 30).
- Enter PIN: If you set the password of the SIM card.
For your convenience, the phone can use 2 SIM cards, simultaneously.
3.6 SIM Unlock
By establishing a PIN (personal identification number) to the SIM card, you can protect it for
non authorized operation. If this feature is enabled, you must enter the PIN code each time
you change mobile phone, then you must unlock it to make or answer a call.
You can remove the password, but in this condition, the SIM card can not be protected
from illegal operation. Press and hold the
[hang up]
to turn the phone on, enter the PIN
code, use the
[hang up]
key to clear wrong entry and press the
key to finish. If you
[call]
enter an invalid code three times continuously, the SIM card will be blocked and you need
to enter the PUK code. Contact your network operator if you do not know the PUK code.
The network service provider shall establish a standard PIN1 code (4-8 digits) for the
SIM card. Please change it as soon as possible. (see page 29)..
