5. PREVENT RISS RELATED TO WOOD
* Wood is a natural material, however its transformation produces dust that could affect
the health of those exposed.
* Wood dust dispersed in the air, regardless of the type of wood, can lead to respiratory
and skin diseases. The exposure duration is an aggravating factor.
* Machines that emit dust must be connected to a suction device.
* Wearing respirator (APR) is mandatory even for interventions limited in time as main-
tenance.
Be used, more precisely, a full face mask or half mask with a filter at least P2 or filtering
face pieces at a minimum FFP2 depending on the concentration at the work place.
