After adjusting, in the "Image Setup" menu, press the "Confirm" button to save the parameters. Otherwise, press the
"Cancel" button or the [ESC] key to abort modification.
In some cases, you might want to mask a special area. This area will not be previewed and recorded. The mask area setup
steps are as follows:
- Enter the "Camera" menu and select a camera using [↑][↓] keys..
- Enter the "Advanced settings" and enable the check box beside the "Privacy Mask" item. You can press [ENTER] or the
[EDIT] to do this. Move the "Active Frame" to the "Area" button and press the [ENTER] to enter mask area setup interface.
- The screen will show as blue divided in small squares, one of them yellow. You can use [↑][↓][→][←] keys to move the
yellow square. Once you got to the desires position, press [EDIT], the yellow square will be turned into red. Use [↑][↓][→]
keys to extend the red pane and [←] key to shrink it. This red area is the mask area.
After the red mask area is selected, press the [EDIT] key to save the selected area. You can setup up to 4 mask areas for
each camera.
- Alarm time. You can set six alarms per day. You may copy the different times for different days.
Note: Periods cannot be the same. Please restart the DVR in order to take changes effect.
-Set alarm policy. If there is a modification in the alarm during configured period, the DVR will respond using the policy. You
can select several options: "screen message", "audible message", "back to the centre" or "start external alarm". Remember,
the symbol for enabled mode is
-Save alarm settings. To save configuration, press "confirm" in image setting menu. You can repeat the process for all cameras.

Mask Area Setup

If you enable this function when someone blocks the
camera, the DVR will show a visual alarm in status bar.
- Click on camera
- Select one camera using [↑] [↓] buttons and select
advanced settings.
- Select sensitivity. Move the Current Window to sensitivity
box (near to vision block). Press EDIT to select sensitivity.
Use [↑] [↓] to choose between low, normal or high. Select
one of the options to activate menus in "area setting" and
"policy"..
- Move the Current Window to Area button and press
ENTER to get access to the setting interface. Configuration
methods are the same as shadow alarm. Press ENTER to
confirm.
