Problem
Coff ee fl ows out of the edges.
The " " light (20) is on.
The " " light (19) is on.
The pump turns off during water
or steam dispensing and the "
light (20) turns on.
Please contact an authorised service centre for any problems not covered in the above table or when the suggested
solutions do not solve the problem.
Possible Causes
The fi lter holder is not correctly inserted
in the brew unit.
The upper rim of the fi lter holder is dirty. Clean the rim of the fi lter holder.
Pod inserted incorrectly.
There is too much coff ee in the fi lter
holder.
The water knob (3) is open.
Descale the machine.
" Safety time-out.
Solution
Insert the fi lter holder correctly (chapter 7).
Insert the pod correctly. Make sure it does not
come out of the fi lter holder.
Reduce the quantity of coff ee using the measur-
ing scoop.
Close the knob (3).
Please refer to chapter (12).
Close the water knob.
