8. Install Handles
Remove the plaster guards from the hot and cold valves.
Install a stem extension onto each valve stem spline. Ensure that the splines
are properly aligned.
NOTE: There are different handle styles available for this product. Only the
cross handle is shown. Installation of all handle styles is identical.
Thread the handle onto the valve body. Ensure that the splines in the
handle and stem extension are engaged.
NOTE: The stem extension allows fine adjustment of the handle alignment.
To adjust, unthread the handle and reposition the stem extension. Rethread
the handle and check alignment. Repeat until handle alignment is
satisfactory.
