1. To pre-rinse the Nutrex Press
, put the Juicer Outlet Stopper on and close it. Place
TM
the Juice Catcher under the Juice Outlet.
a. Turn it "ON" and pour enough water into the Juicing Bowl to fill it (300

b. Let it run for 30 seconds; open the Juicer Outlet Stopper to let the water flow out.
Repeat if necessary.
2. Turn it "OFF", unplug it and disassemble the juicer and wash all parts (except
the Motor Base) in warm soapy water with a soft sponge or cloth. To avoid
scratching, do not use abrasive scrubbing pads or sponges on plastic parts.
• All parts, except the Motor Base, are dishwasher safe. Never immerse or rinse the
Motor Base in water.
• Do not clean the juicer with any products containing ammonia or bleach, or scouring
powders, as they may dull, scratch or mar the surface.
• Use the soft brush (included) to clean holes in the Strainer Basket and the Outlets
should they become clogged.
• Clean the Motor Base with a damp sponge or cloth.
Troubleshooting
The juicer does not operate after switching the power switch to "On".
• Check to make sure the juicer is plugged in to a properly grounded electrical outlet.
• Make sure the Juicing Bowl is properly attached to the Motor Base.

The juicer stops suddenly while in operation.
• The Food Pusher may have been pushed in with too much force. Always push the Food

• Too much food was pushed through the Feeder Tube at one time. Feed only enough

• Check that your household voltage is compatible with the juicer specifications (see
Specifications in this booklet for voltage requirements).
There is a whining noise when the juicer is in operation.
Some noise is normal when the juicer is in operation. If you hear any unusual noise, stop
