STEP 2
Connect the cable to the socket on the back of the timer,
shown on the first image on the top "versions 740C/742C and
760C/762C".
STEP 3
Remove the refill regulator and the internal sphere from the
valve and replace them with the chlorinator electrode.
See the exact position of the refill regulator on the images.
STEP 4
Insert the other end of the chlorinator electrode.
Press firmly in order to ensure good contact.
STEP 5
Supply power to the programmer and position it back on the
valve. No regulation is needed.
The chlorinator starts operating after receiving the regenerating
agent for the first time.
On the timer front side, the salt alarm lights if there is no
regenerating agent during suction.
The chlorine generator activates automatically during regenerating agent suction in phase C2. During this stage, Logix
programmer sends a current signal to the electrodes located in the special brine regulator.
NORMAL OPERATION
A few seconds after the start of C2 phase, the timer detects the presence of brine and shows CL on the display. The chlorine
generator keeps on working until the end of regenerating agent suction and during slow washing phase (C3, not shown) it
deactivates CL. During the shift from C2 to C4, the salt alarm indicator will not show any anomaly.
OPERATION IN THE ABSENCE OF SALT
During the entire C2, the timer does not check the appropriate brine concentration and CL indication is not shown on the
display. When shifting from C2 to C4, the salt alarm indicator will light in order to inform the user that it is necessary to fill
the brine tub. Please note that the salt alarm will keep lighted until the next regeneration, in case of operation restart and
CL shown on the display; then it will turn off during the shift from C2 to C4.
